Why Are Quiches So Delicious

Quiche is a French tart consisting of pastry crust filled with custard and pieces of cheese, meat, seafood, or vegetables. My favorite is breakfast quiches. I like adding spinach or kale, tomatoes, mushrooms, black olives, onions, and red peppers. When I used to go home, my mom always made them. I never knew how to make it without burning it. She made them in a cast-iron skillet. I made a breakfast quiche one day, and it went left fast. It was dry and not seasoned enough (lol). I want to try some different ones in another country one day. I would love to try them in the home country of France (where they originated from).
