5 Vegan Myths You Need To Know

  • You Lose Weight- This is the number one myth. It’s not smart or safe to go into veganism trying to lose weight. This is something many people do and when you go into it thinking that it’s not good for your health. You can damage your body that way because you will start to miss certain nutrients
  • The Food Is Nasty- This a myth because there are different kinds of vegan food. You can make anything out of plants these day. Vegan food is delicious and very healthy.
  • It’s Cheap- Unfortunately, vegan food is a bit pricey depending on what you get. You can always go to a farmers and buy cheap organic food and cook your own food.
  • You won’t need to take any vitamins- Take it from me, I did this and messed up at the beginning. I never understood anything about the nutrients our body needs. I learned after a while, but this is a myth. You need to get your nutrients from your food or/and take your vitamins.
  • Everyone goes into it thinking the same- Everyone have different motives for going vegan or vegetarian. It can be to save the animals, just to eat better, or any other reason.
