If you didn’t know, not eating meat doesn’t guarantee weight loss. The goal of eating healthier and not eating meat should not be focused on your weight. You should be focused on the health aspect of it. When I started this journey, I told myself that I will lose a lot of weight since I wasn’t eating much. The foods I prepared were meatless but there was still sugar and many other things in those products. I have learned that if you try to lose weight this way, it will only hurt you more. People who go vegan doesn’t lose much weight either. They have to take vitamins to stay healthy because they miss certain things in their body.
You still have your fats, sugars, and carbs. People make it seem like people who don’t eat meat are gonna die from weight loss. This is one of the biggest myths in the book. You will lose some weight, just not all at once. A smart way to lose weight this way is to come up with a diet plan. Just remember that if you are eating as a vegan or vegetarian, you have to eat enough. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. Eat tofu and beans. Take it from me, it took me a while to figure out that I wasn’t eating enough.
