Why Does A GPA Define Who We Are

College is the most stressful thing any student will go through. I say this because we have to deal with so much such as money, living situations, class, work, and keeping a good grade point average. Having a good GPA is critical because you need it to get into a school. It starts in high school and will follow you everywhere. Classes are so hard these days because they are online and it’s not easy keeping up with everything. One mess up can drop your GPA. The scariest part of a low GPA is that you will be placed on academic probation. That means if it goes down any lower and if you don’t fix it, you will lose all your financial aid. I never had that before but I had a warning before and I made sure I stayed up on work. I wasn’t playing or anything, I was honestly struggling with science. I have a hard time memorizing things which backfires one me.

The one thing that annoys me is that having a high GPA is necessary to get certain things. I’m talking about getting into the best schools and scholarships. It’s not fair that everyone works hard but only the highest get the scholarships. You can try your best and struggle but still get nothing. That just shows you that everything is a race. It’s not even good to have below a 2.5 because there aren’t that many scholarships with a 2.0 GPA. A lot of people drop out due to these reasons and it’s sad. It’s not fair that just because some people struggle more, that they are thrown from opportunities. School is hard and some people take longer to learn than others.

Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am a college student and I am curious about everything. When I get curious, I need to talk about it. Life is amazing and weird at the same time. This is why we must stay positive so that we can enjoy life before it ends.

Wanna say something...
