#Black History Month: Acknowledging Myself (Picture Included)

I blog about a lot of people so I wanted to add myself to the list. This is black history month and I am black. Over time, you guys have listened to me complain about the news and everything else that goes on. You can probably tell what kind of person I am just by reading my post. I am a feminist and all over women empowerment, if you couldn’t tell. I am a extremely open minded person. I say exactly how I feel because I am human. I just know what not to say, unlike other people. I wanted to acknowledge myself because I have done a lot to get to where I am today. I am currently in college working towards my bachelors just to go get my masters in anthropology.

Growing up in a big family has it’s ups and downs but at then end of the day, they are family. Covid has opened up my eyes to just that. I don’t know how long I have on this earth, so I tend to focus on myself and my work. I wanted to start blogging because I don’t have someone who I can just vent to. I like talking but not about normal things which is why I can’t talk to everybody. Here are a couple of facts about me… I think life is like a game of sims which god is controlling us. I want my own dog so that I can have a cuddle buddy. Dogs are too precious. My hair broke off when I was in middle school which made me do the “cut”. I listen to a lot of K-pop. I am the only one in my family with perfect vision. Those other heathens are blind as bats (lol). My first kiss was with someone else boyfriend (lol). Don’t judge me, I was a freshman in high school. I didn’t like his girlfriend anyways.

Those are some fun facts about me. I am also accident prone. For some reason I have the most injuries than anyone else in my family. My family use to say I was acting suicidal but to be honest, it was just me doing dumb stuff like dares (lol). Black history month means a lot to me. We look up to those people who are honored. Not just them, but every black person should feel this way. When I start a family, I want my children to look up to me. We are all suppose to be role models for the next generation. The picture below is me. Some of you guys don’t know how I look so here you go (lol). My name is “Tatyana Green”.
