The snow has melted and places are opening back up. On campus buildings were closed because of the snow storm, so they closed the gym as well. I was bored and was just relaxing during this time and after all that, I felt so lazy. Today, we still have remote classes but everything on campus is opening back up. I told myself last night, I was gonna go workout in the morning and that is what I did.
I woke up at 6:30am and got ready for the gym. There is still a lot of ice but the path was clear to the doors. I slid my ID card and enter the gym. I started with stretches, proceeded with squats, crunches, butt lifts, leg lifts, and planks. I then went walking and jogging. I ended with getting on the treadmill. After all that, my workout was a full 30 minutes. I felt good and slid on the ice outside and almost fell (lol). How embarrassing. I went to get a Gatorade and headed back to my dorm. I like to keep my energy so I ran up the stairs to keep the momentum. It’s only the third floor but it felt good. My legs hurt so bad but that is what it takes.
I hopped in a hot shower to wash off the sweat. This felt so good. I plan to go 2-3 times a week so that I can keep it up. I plan to be more active because feeling lazy is a nasty feeling for me. Especially if I am just eating. It was worth waking up early.
