During the pandemic, college students are still in school. Before the pandemic, everyone was excited about to take classes for their major. Well most are happy but many people never really know what they want to do after college. There are so many majors and you may have a full plan for your life (me). Although that may be, there has to be things going through your mind when you have an active virus outside. Things like “what will happen after”.
Covid has made me think because covid is stopping a lot of jobs. I major in Anthropology which you can do a lot with but you never know. People who major in things like Art, humanities, languages or the basics could be worried. It’s harder for those majors because everything is changing. You have to think differently now because of the issue. I’m not saying give up your major because I believe every major is worth it.
You can do something with every major. I feel like a lot of people are thinking of the money only but you also have to be happy with your career. If you are an art major, you should think of freelancing because a lot of museums are closed and are not opening up because of covid. A lot of work is going remote and online so you can see how much is changing. You have to change your mindset to be in the reality because the reality is that this world is changing.
