This is very easy and simple to make. If you wanna wake up and start your day full and enthusiastic then make this recipe for breakfast. Eating greens in the morning boost your immune system and gives you energy. You don’t need a heavy breakfast every morning full of grease and syrup. I made this recipe this morning after going jogging and walking. I also had a glass of oat milk on the side for digestion. If you are like me, you love bok coy and can eat the entire thing. I bought one whole bok choy and cooked it down. The bok choy looks big but it really isn’t. It cooks down and makes a perfect sizing for one person.
Directions: Take out the bok coy and cut the bottom of the stalk. You don’t have to eat the white part so you can cut up until you reach the little green above the stalk. Feel free to cut or not cut your bok choy. Next, you want to rinse every leaf separately and thoroughly to clean off the dirt. Next, chop some fresh garlic and set aside. Using a non-stick pan, coat the the pan with olive oil, turn on medium/high heat and put in the chopped garlic. Stir the garlic three times, put in the bok choy and toss a couple of times. Put in four table spoons of water in to the pan and cover with a lid for 5 minutes. Open the lid and toss the bok choy so that all of it is getting cooked. Season the bok coy with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and red pepper flakes (Two Shakes). Season to your taste because I never measure seasonings. Only use a little salt because the soy sauce will add more salt. Add 4 table spoons of soy sauce to the bok coy and cover the lid for another 5-7 minutes. Next, check to make sure everything is cooked thoroughly by seeing the translucent part at the bottom of the bok choy. It will be soft and smaller once it is completely done. Lastly, serve and enjoy.
