Using Your Backbone

I am writing this post because I did something today that forced me to use my backbone. I was complaining to my sister about my roommate because she is really gross to live with. I hate to use the word gross but she leave open pads in my trash can, hair in the drain and in the toilet and I just couldn’t take it anymore. We are both adults. Now, I have had this problem with many roommates in college. I really just wish I could get my own bathroom. I can’t wait to move but back to the story. I was telling my older sister about it and she said that I was crazy because I didn’t say anything to my roommate before. I am not a rude person so I wouldn’t be rude about it if I had told her then but there is a thing called respect.

I never like starting arguments and heated confrontations. My sister said “If it comes to that then fight her”. (lol) Anyways, she was gone the whole day so I was gonna wait until she got back. I ate dinner and went to the gym. I finished my homework and then she came in. I asked her if she had time to talk and she said yes. This us what I told her…”So, I don’t know if you had noticed but you comb your hair over the sink and you leave your hair in the sink drain. You also leave it in the toilet.” She explain it and said that she usually clean it up but she do it at home. Eww, sis you have no home training. I was like OK, and she said that she will clean it up next time. I told her that I wasn’t trying to be rude because I don’t talk to her. We have our on room but we share a living room area and a bathroom. I should have told her earlier because it would have been solved earlier. You can’t let people walk over you. I hate things like this because I don’t wanna come off as rude but you are living with a complete stranger. My thoughts of her is that she is nasty and that is that.
